Who Our Evening IOP Is For
An evening intensive outpatient program can be a good fit if you:
- Work during the day and cannot take extended time off
- Attend school or care for children or family members during the day
- Need more support than weekly counseling but do not need 24-hour care
- Are stepping down from detox or residential treatment and returning to work
- Live with mental health symptoms that affect your substance use
Evening IOP Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 5:45–8:45 p.m. in person at our Maitland office
- About 12 hours a week of group treatment
- Individual sessions with your counselor every other week
- Optional telehealth groups on Friday and Saturday for Florida residents
Most people attend for up to 12 weeks, depending on their progress. Group times can change as we add sessions, so call to confirm the current schedule.
What an Evening Session Looks Like
Each three-hour evening session combines group therapy with practical skills work. A typical evening includes a check-in, a therapy group led by a licensed clinician, and a skills block on topics such as cravings, stress, relationships and relapse prevention. Clients also work on goals between sessions.

Keeping Your Job While in Treatment
Evening IOP lets many people keep a regular work schedule. If you do need time away, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) may protect your job for eligible workers who need treatment for a substance use disorder. Talk with your HR department about your options. Our team can provide documentation of your treatment when you authorize it.
